Viking Costume

This is the costume I made for the renaissance festival this year. I wanted to be a Viking like Lagertha Lothbrok --> tablet.todayonline.com/sites/d… . At first it was going to be a cosplay of her, but then it turned into more of an 'inspired by' look. 

I was just grateful that it wasn't super hot the day I went. Pleather and sun don't mix well. You cant see in this photo but I actually hand made some suede booties too with wraps that went up to my calf.

Everything is handmade (literaly. I don't own a sewing machine D except for a chain mail pouch, the necklace and the crown thingy that I had bought at a previous fest and decided to wear last minute. The belt and weasel pouch are reused from a previous costume. The walking stick was bought at the fest.
